Rose Theatre

Each venue is different and unique in its own way.  And If by chance you happened to be downtown this morning - Tuesday - at 7:00 a.m. at the corner of Washington and Taylor, then you saw what I never imagined when I proposed the Starlight Room to David Hero and Alison Powers Hero: a 20 foot retractable movie screen being hoisted from the sidewalk up to a third floor window via crane operator Julian Arthur's dexterous hands.   Twyla Tharp, in her wonderful book "The Creative Habit" said, "Your creative endeavors can never thoroughly be mapped out ahead of time.  You have to allow for the suddenly altered landscape, the change in plan, the accidental spark -- and you have to see it as a stroke of luck rather than a disturbance of your perfect scheme
