Kathryn Hunt lives on the coast of the Salish Sea. She is author of two poetry collections, Long Way Through Ruin and Seed Wheel and a chapbook, The Country I Come From. Her poems have appeared in Orion, Radar, and Terrain, among others. She’s worked as a waitress, shipscaler, short-order cook, bookseller, printer, food bank coordinator, filmmaker, and freelance writer.
Maryna Ajaja was raised in L. A. and later moved to the Northwest, raised her children near Port Townsend, and fished salmon in Alaska. She studied filmmaking in St. Petersburg, Russia. For 27 years, she’s worked as a programmer for the Seattle International Film Festival. Her poetry collections Empatheia and In Deep are informed by all of the landscapes, disciplines, and people that have made up her life.
