Four Choreographers of Our Time at the Paris Opera: Thierrée/Schecter/Pérez/Pite

Port Townsend Dance Film Festival

To open the evening James Thierrée takes over the public areas of the Palais Garnier and introduces us to his dream-like world. Israel's Hofesh Schecter (Hofesh Schecter's Clowns), often lauded for his trance-evoking dances, offers a new version of The Art of Not Looking Back. Spain's Ivan Pérez occupies the stage of the Opera for the first time with a creation for ten male dancers. And Crystal Pite (Betroffenheit) returns with The Seasons' Cannon, a dazzling creation from 2016.

Directed by Cédric Klapisch, Miguel Octave, France, 2018, 118 min.
