Ruth (a deliciously mischievous Charlotte Rampling) is sporting a heavy gin habit and a newly fractured leg. Her unruly grandson, Sam (played by newcomer George Ferrier) has been kicked out of boarding school after the death of his mother. The two light up the screen together as Ruth's fiery personality slowly wins him over, teaching the apathetic and cynical Sam just how much there is left to live for.

NR, 1h 34m.

"As the catalyst for the plot, Charlotte Rampling is able to deliver another of her finely tuned, beautifully understated performances as a woman who has seen the world." – Shadows on the Wall

"Oscar nominee and all-round paragon of cinema Rampling is of course in formidable form, and newcomer George Ferrier [as Sam] immediately commands our attention with a contained explosive performance." – Newshub

"Expect JUNIPER to stay in conversation, as Rampling's turn will resonate within independent cinema communities as one of the year's best performances." – We Live Entertainment
