Director Lynn Shelton describes herself as having been audacious as a young girl, but having lost confidence in her creativity in adolescence. Her confidence returned full bloom, and is evident once again in her highly acclaimed new feature OUTSIDE IN, starring Edie Falco and Jay Duplass. Shelton grew up in Seattle, attended Oberlin College and then the University of Washington School of Drama. She's a gifted filmmaker with a talent for drawing great performances from her cast. She was last at the Rose for a Q&A with her film YOUR SISTER'S SISTER (2011).
