Studio Ghibli is a Japanese film studio based in Tokyo with a very strong presence in the animation industry. Ghibli has given us some of the most iconic and heartwarming animated movies of all time, including SPIRITED AWAY, PONYO, and MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO. Founded by Directors Hayao Miyazaki, Isao Takahata and Producer Toshio Suzuki, their principles of storytelling gave their studio a reputation for comforting, gentle experiences. The world of Ghibli is a magical place that captures our imagination and leaves us enchanted.

These films are for the entire family, and we look forward to welcoming more kids to the theatre!

In this brilliant and often overlooked masterpiece, the forests are filled with groups of magical tanuki, mischievous raccoon-like animals capable of shape-shifting from their standard form to practically any object. The tanuki spend their days playing idly in the hillsides – until the construction of a huge new Tokyo suburb clears the nearby forest and threatens their way of life.
