The Starlight Room

Food and cocktails by the Silverwater Cafe with films curated by the Rose Theatre. A 21+ venue.

Purchase your tickets at the Rose box office, then head one door down to the Silverwater, where you’ll ascend to the 3rd floor via the elevator or grand staircase.  Once inside, you’ll find a beautiful hand-built bar where you can order beer, wine (by the glass or bottle), a cocktail, and delicious selections from a small plate menu. Rose Theatre popcorn with all the seasonings will also be on hand.

Entering the main room you’ll be treated to a stunning view of downtown Port Townsend and Admiralty Inlet, plus cozy chairs and loveseats for eating and watching the movie.  

There is no food or drink minimum, feel free to just come and watch a film!  Doors open 45 minutes before showtime.

In 1974, Leon Gast filmed an unprecedented sports spectacle: the Rumble in the Jungle, in which late-career underdog Muhammad Ali would contend with the younger powerhouse George Foreman for the boxing heavyweight championship title in Zaire. Gast wound up amassing a treasure trove of footage, observing the wildly charismatic athlete training for one of the toughest bouts of his career. PG, 89 min.
