The Starlight Room

Food and cocktails by the Silverwater Cafe with films curated by the Rose Theatre. A 21+ venue.

Purchase your tickets at the Rose box office, then head one door down to the Silverwater, where you’ll ascend to the 3rd floor via the elevator or grand staircase.  Once inside, you’ll find a beautiful hand-built bar where you can order beer, wine (by the glass or bottle), a cocktail, and delicious selections from a small plate menu. Rose Theatre popcorn with all the seasonings will also be on hand.

Entering the main room you’ll be treated to a stunning view of downtown Port Townsend and Admiralty Inlet, plus cozy chairs and loveseats for eating and watching the movie.  

There is no food or drink minimum, feel free to just come and watch a film!  Doors open 45 minutes before showtime.

Our Small Plate Menu

The Silverwater upstairs kitchen is has prepared a delightful wine list, a delectable food menu and a divine cocktail selection, especially for the Starlight Room.  We can make many selections gluten-free upon request. The menu changes regularly, here are some items you may find:

HOUSE SALAD - Organic mixed greens, toasted pepitas, green apple, pickled onion and chevre, tossed in a lemon-pomegranate vinaigrette (option to add chicken breast or poached prawns).

SEARED AHI NICOISE SALAD: Seared rare 4 oz. sushi quality ahi steak, served on a bed of romaine lettuce with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, fingerling potatoes, blanched asparagus and tossed in house-made ginger miso dressing with roasted garlic aioli.

MT. TOWNSEND CHEESE BOARD - Assortment of 5 local cheeses from Mt. Townsend Creamery with apple slices, figs and candied walnuts. With toated baguette or gluten-free crackers.

DUNGENESS CRAB QUICHE - Warm individual quiche with wild Dungeness crab meat, asparagus, herbed cheee and fennel fronds. Served with a small house salad.

HOUSE-ROASTED MIXED NUTS - A blend of warm nuts roasted with Silverwater Secret Spice.

BLACK & WHITE TRUFFLE FRIES - Cripsy, oven-baked fries tossed with white truffle oil, black truffle sea salt, parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

CAESAR SALAD WRAP - Romain lettuce, parmesan cheese and house-made Caesar dressing in a flour tortilla, option to add chicken or poached prawns.

ROAST BEEF AND CHEDDAR WRAP - House-roasted beef, served warm in a flour tortilla with cheddar, chipotle aioli, local mixed greens, pickled onion and tomato.

ROASTED VEGGIE WRAP - A roasted vegetable medley served cold and refreshing with house-made basil pesto, chevre, organic mixed greens, cucumber slices and a drizzle of balsamic reduction sauce in a large flour tortilla (option to add chicken).

ARTICHOKE PARMESAN PATE - Served hot with a side of toasted baguette.

CAPRESE PANINI - Tomato, basi and mozzarella cheese on a grilled Pane d'Amore bun with roasted garlic aioli and balsamic reduction (add bacon bits or chicken breast).

ANGUS BEEF SLIDERS - Three beef sliders served on toasted Pane d'Amore buns with gruyere cheese, organic greens, pickled onions, tomato and remoulade sauce (option to add thick-cut applewood smoked bacon).

VEGAN CHICKPEA BURRITO - A large flour tortilla with vegan taco-style chickpea filling, cilantro-lime rice, romaine lettuce, tomato and avocado. Served with pico de gallo and lime.

SALMON FLORENTINE TURNOVER - Flaky puff-pastry stuffed with sautéed seared wild-caught Cape Cleare salmon, with spinach, roasted tomato, onions and capers. Served alongside an organic mixed green salad.

MEDITERRANEAN PLATE - House-made hummus served with warm pita bread, cured olives, pickled peppers, stuffed grape leaves, roasted red peppers, cherry tomatoes and cucumber.

ARTICHOKE PARMESAN PATÉ - Served hot with a side of toasted baguette.

CAPRESE PANINI - Tomato, basil and mozzarella cheese on a grilled panini bun from Pane d'Amore. Option to add bacon or chicken.

PIZZA SPECIAL - Oven-baked to order on Naan flatbread. Our individual pizzas change weekly! Gluten-free crusts available upon request.
